कुछ दिनों पहले मैंने ‘ यौन शिक्षा स्कूलों में ज़रूरी होनी चाहिए ‘ विषय पर एक वाद- विवाद प्रतियोगिता अपने स्टूडेंट्स के बीच कराया। दस बच्चों में छह ने विषय के पक्ष में राय रखी और बाक़ी चार का कहना था कि स्कूलों में शायद ये शिक्षा जल्दी हो जाएगी। एक स्टूडेंट अंजलि ने अपनी बात को रखने के लिए आसपास के लोगों से बात की और मुझसे वो सभी बातें शेयर की।
एक पास के सरकारी अस्पताल के डॉक्टर से जब उसने पूछा, कि क्या यौन शिक्षा स्कूलों में होनी चाहिए? डॉक्टर का जवाब था, ” यौन गुप्त बात है, तो इसे गुप्त ही रहने दें , ज़रूरत क्या है इनकी पढ़ाई करवाने की। ” जब उनसे सवाल किया गया कि सरकार मानती है कि ये शिक्षा होनी चाहिए। ” सरकार इस फैसले का साथ नहीं, बढ़ावा दे रही है , कह रही है कि गलती करो लेकिन सावधानी से करो। “
जब तक अंजलि डॉक्टर से बात कर रही थी तभी गांव का एक व्यक्ति लाल गमछा , काली पैंट और भूरी टीशर्ट में अस्पताल में आया , उसकी उम्र करीब पैतीस के आसपास रही होगी और बातचीत से पता चला कि उसके चार बच्चें थे।
अंजलि – ” क्या आप अपने बच्चों पढ़ाएंगे ?”
युवक – : “जी बिलकुल“
अंजलि – ” यौन शिक्षा भी देंगे?”
युवक की आवाज़ ऊंची हो गई और चिल्ला कर बोला ,” पागल हो ? ये भी कोई पढ़ाने की चीज़ है ?”
अंजलि ने आवाज़ दबाये अगला सवाल किया , ” आपकी बेटी को मासिक धर्म आता है तो क्या आप उसकी विशेष देखभाल करते हैं ?”
युवक – “ ये मेरा काम नहीं है। “
अंजलि ने अपनी राय रखी और कहा, ” यौन शिक्षा की कमी के कारण ही बलात्कार हो रहे हैं।”
तभी उस युवक की आवाज़ फिर तेज़ हो गई , ” बिना दुप्पटे के घूमोगी तो फिर क्या होगा , मुझे तो लगता है जो लड़की ज़्यादा उछलती है आज़ादी के नाम पर उनके साथ ये सही होता है। ” अंजलि ये सुन कर चुप हो गई, और उसने शुक्र मनाया कि आज उसने दुप्पटा लिया था।
घर जाकर अंजलि खिचड़ी बनाने लगी तभी पड़ोस की एक चाची घर आई , अंजलि ने उनसे भी यौन शिक्षा बारे में पूछा, उन्होंने अंजलि से ही दुबारा सवाल , ” माई कौना स्कूल में भेजले रहली तहरा के खिचड़ी कइसे बनेला ई सिखावे खातिर?”( माँ ने कौन से स्कूल में भेजा था, खिचड़ी बनाना सीखने के लिए ?)
अंजलि ने बड़े प्यार से उसका जवाब देते हुए कहा , ” ओकरो पढ़ाई होवेला चाची। “( उसकी भी पढ़ाई होती है चाची )

अंजलि ने इसे बस एक विषय न समझ कर गूगल की मदद न लेते हुए आसपास के लोगों से बातचीत की , जिससे शायद उसे इस बारे में सही जानकारी और लोगों की जागरूकता का ज्ञान मिला और वो भी अपनी एक राय बना पाई , एक बेहतर मीडिया स्टूडेंट के राह पर चलने के लिए अनेक बधाई तुम्हें और मुझसे ये सभी बातें बताने के लिए भी।
