I give you the right to laugh, to gossip and giggle on the identification that I am from Bihar. Sometimes we really do over react that Biharis are always laughed on. We are not laughed on, we are judged on some facts that has emerged from our land. But then I want to know, what about the other aspects of facts you don’t know, why not a person from this land make that clear.?
Well, making it clear, I am not going to brag anything about the history as history don’ t need any light to focus, it’s already in the Central board syllabus from classes 6th to 10th to make you know how bright the history of this state has been, so no more shining torch on that phase.
Let’s come to our era, the era of globalisation and the era when the most humiliation cases do occur with the students from Bihar in other states. Still, we don’t judge the other state as such, and again our students migrate to such places and faces the same humiliation .
I keep the pride in being from this state. Born in the Saran district of Bihar ,and have spent 13 years here of my 22 years on this globe . I have rejoiced every second of this soil. The first three years of nourishment and being cultured according to this land, I was a pure Bhojpuri speaker in my 3 years of age. I moved to Maharashtra in Chandrapur District , 153.3 kms from Nagpur . Lived for other 6 years. The early education had always been an exciting part when a girl with pure Bhojpuri accent learned Hindi and bits of English needed for my school interview within a month, and then now I hear people saying Bihar has no good accent, if I could learn in a month being a 3 years old, I bother the statistics goes wrong. I always searched the name of Bihar to be differentiated and distinguished in Books while classifying the culture and festivals of various states, but my delight of telling my bench mate my identity got wasted. Even she never knew what state was Bihar. No doubt she was very young but when I got to hear those from her parents, I felt like a stateless .
2008, a year of returning this land . Even moving to this place from Jharkhand too, the place categorized as sister of Bihar, I was laughed on because I was moving to Bihar. A land of villagers, a land of illiterates they said.Fine, I agree my lord, the government has been making it tough to rise ahead in education , but 10 years in Patna have not been that bad. I feel no less than any other friend who stays in other state .I don’t feel that there’s anything less in my education and anything low I have been taught.
I am happy with the ‘HUM’ in my individual mention.I am proud that the most part of food our country consumes is produced by the sweat of farmers getting melted in sun. Not everyone here is an IAS, yet most of the toppers of such exams belong to this land.
I still hear my cousins staying out of this state, that they feel low in stating their native place.They are judged, they are always made fun, I ask why?? Is what this state is made for, formed to be laughed?Every individual has their basis of growth and knowledge, their own culture, their own interests, then why measuring each one on a single scale? I even agree the government schools do need improvement, but this is not the single problem in this state, the whole country lacks that. Then why this stereotyping???
Every other day, the social networks come with good names from Bihar in the country, but I oppose why to proof your worth, why to make yourself identified in crowd,. It’s not required, we are in a country progressing and declining with very state, let others dig out your history from your success rather than keeping your identity card with you.
EVEN THE SMUDGES ON ITS NAME , CANNOT VANISH THE EXISTENCE. THE PRIDE WAVING IN THE AIR THAT BREEZE. THE FALLING OF RIVERS HERE BUILD STORIES. THE CULTURE OF KINGDOMS AND DYNASTIES , EDUCATIONAL AND SPIRITUAL VIABILITIES. THIS IS THE LAND OF BIRTH OF REVOLUTION , FREEDOM , INSPIRATIONS, A YOGA OF POWER, A FORCE OF OPPORTUNITIES . IT IS BIHAR , THE SOUL OF THE COUNTRY .BLOOMING INDIA AND ITS CULTURE EVERY WAY.
BIHAR DIWAS
22nd March 1912 marked by the British Presidency, the whole state celebrates its formation on 22nd March every year. 22nd March 2018, being the 106th Year of Existence of this state called”BIHAR’’. Thrones of longed history and pioneer of education , Bihar is no less culminating finely in present. Skilled youth and a zone of various startups, Bihar is exploring its zone and exceeding in every field.
We decided to celebrate the occasion to arouse Bihari pride among people, irrespective of their caste and religious affiliations. Not just this land,Bihar Day is also being celebrated in the USA, the UK, Dubai, Doha, Qatar and Singapore, among other places, where a good number of Bihar born people live.
If you can’t support the growth of one hand of your country, don’t try to make it go in the dark.
