Let’s sit for ‘Panchayat’ in lock down

This Quarantine brought a change in me, I never had much love for watching web series, I took them as the last option after I am done with everything, even using a cellphone. But this Quarantine, I have made it my priority of the routine. One of the Instagram contacts asked me if I had watched Panchayat, the same day I had watched the trailer and was planning to watch the series. But his interrogation made me not to wait and go for it. The main factor was Jitendra as the main actor who had hit the list after Kota Factory.

Coming to the story, born in Bihar and spending summer vacations, Chath puja holidays at my native I have seen this glimpse of rural life and is a bit familiar to the dusks and dawns of the agricultural lands. The change of the place in these years, the development and the life there is so different. The series made me feel connected, the character of Vikas and his dialogue delivery made me remember many of the real-life characters from my native place. His way of saying, ‘Ainnnn Sirrr!, Avisek Sir’ caught a huge attraction. The story of modern youth and his introduction to rural life was depicted in a fun way but behind that we could compare the underdevelopment because of illiteracy, myth beliefs, politics, dowry and what not.

I completed this series in just a few hours, and then I read the review article on Patnabeats and that was near to everything I thought of. One must go through the article for knowing the characters and production main leads name. Well, you can try it watching to make your lockdown interesting. Plus, waiting for season 2❤
